What is the Victim Witness Portal?
The Victim Witness Portal is New Jersey’s automated Victim Witness notification service.
The Prosecutors Office receives a case and screens the file to add victims to our notification system
The Prosecutors Office sends an initial letter to the victim with an authentication code to register for the Portal
Once registered with the Portal, the victim will receive status letters electronically and be able to refer back to previous letters
The Portal will also allow the victim to update their contact information, complete and submit forms electronically and view the status of their case

About the service
